My baby is 4!!!! The much anticipated event finally took place this past weekend. So busy, but so fun! Olivia was thrilled to finally catch up to her friends. We had a cake at home on friday, with my sister Allie and her new baby Angus, my very handsome little nephew. Then a big bbq party with all Olivia's buds on saturday. Never imagined that one day i would be planing obsticle courses and treasure hunts, and making barbie cakes. Actually, I totally knew I would , its just so weird to be doing it. Olivia had such a happy weekend. She's turning into such a little girl now. Ryder had so much fun chasing around all the big kids. And it was such an amazing sunny day. Squeeked in one last summer bbq before the cold weather sets in! yeah!

Sooooooo, i've decided to start my blog again, its been neglected for a while now. I'm gonna keep it close family/friend oriented. There are so many people that i dont see often enough, and things change so quickly around here. I'm hoping this will be a great outlet for keeping updated on what is going on in our world. I think there is a button to subscribe to this blog, then you will be notified whenever i post something new. Hee hee. I wish I could be organized enough to send personal emails, but alas, I think this is the best alternative. Hopefully you can over look my spelling and gramatical errors, and enjoy!!
We just returned from our trip down the Oregan coast. Fun! We were gone for 10 days, and camped all but 2. The kids we such troopers! We made it all the way to nothern California to see the Redwood National Park. Such amazing huge trees! Al and Steph, note the picture of the Tillamook cheese factory. Do you remember going there? Of course, just my luck, none of the conveyor belts for the cheese were running because it was a Saturday, so we got to look at an inactive cheese factory. Are you suprised! We got some tasty cheese and ice cream though, and did get to see them pacing cheese curds! heeh!

The kids loved the ocean and dunes! Ryder was so excited, he ran for 10 min straight along cannon beach before even pausing to catch his breath! Olivia found some dead birds which she continued to ask questions about for the next 2 days! So fun, and so tired! I should have been in bed hours ago! i'll post more pic's of our trip over the next few days! hope your all great! Hooray for blogs!

Back To Work

Sigh, I've joined the work force again, and its bitter sweet. Didn't realize how much I enjoy spending all day every day with my babies. Its so hard to be up stairs, listening to all the goings on from afar. I have to force myself to stay in the room. At least I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to be at home in the first place. And hooray for drawing!

We're back, and it only took me 2 weeks to get a chance to post something. Hawai'i was so fun! So thankful to Nana and Grandpa for coming along and babysitting for us. Dave and I actually got out and did a few things on our own. Swimming with turtles, riding down volcanoes, scuba diving, surfing. We managed to come back in one piece, everyone except olivia that is. She came home, minus one pinky fingernail after getting her finger stuck in a door. Pretty gruesome! Ripped her nail and tip of her finger almost clean off. After nail removal and 3 stitches, she was back to her bounce hyper self. And we got an extra day out of it. Poor little critter!

We're off to Hawaii tomorrow! Yeah!! Olivia and Ryder are all geared up and ready to go. Our first trip since Oz, and the first big one with the kids. I feel giddy! Yahoo!
